Police diver searching for gun
This is a training exercise in a south yorkshire canal. The police diver was looking for a gun. Due to the mud and colouration of the canal water, there is zero visibility so the diver has to search by touch. The photograph was taken (hand held0 using a 5x4" MPP camera ... often used by police documenters before the advent of 35mm.
