These are my very recent work. Our organization Britto Arts Trust (www.brittoarts.org) recently organized a collaborative workshop with 10 rickshaw painters (artisan) and 10 contemporary artists of Bangladesh. I was one of the participants too. I have done three paintings on photographs of my self-portraits and my foot. And two works are done on canvas and wood.
These series of works are influenced by Yantra panting and Mughal miniature. I have tried to reflect my mind and feelings, my desire, hope, loneliness, sadness all about my experience from my life to understand my body and brain, how they react in my life. So I used some symbolic motifs and color that have some particular sense.
